As a wide-eyed kid, I dreamt of becoming a jeweler, and fate smiled upon me, from sidewalk sweeper to chief gemstone whisperer, my journey as a jeweler and gemologist has been one wild ride! I paved my way from grade school corridors to the glittering aisles of our family store..
I’ve been at the helm of our 75-year-old establishment now for 16 years, and I have been in the industry for over 40 years, making friends with customers and colleagues alike. Their smiles fuel my fire, keeping the spark of dedicated service alive and kicking!
Beyond the glitz of gold and gems lies the chaos of my family life. Tracy, my rock, and our trio of youngsters, Garrett, Maddi, and Kate, keep the laughter rolling. And let’s not forget our fur-babies, Braxton and Graham, the furry mischief-makers adding chaos to our home.
Beach is my middle name, beckoning me to the sand and surf every year to wind down and relax with the Fam. And last but not least Service to the community and fellow man; The call to serve resonates strong, Service above self I always say.

For over three decades, I’ve been dedicated to selling Love Insurance, a term that resonates deeply with my commitment to the jewelry industry, a passion ignited at the tender age of 10 when my grandfather gifted me my first diamond. At 22, I managed a corporate jewelry store in Florida, where I honed my skills and realized my calling in this timeless profession.
Returning to my Ohio roots, I joined the esteemed team at Pughs Diamond Jewelers. Today, after two decades, I not only manage the entire Pughs team but also continue my passion for buying and designing, creating treasured heirlooms for my clients’ special occasions. I take immense pride in upholding Pugh’s 75-year legacy, nurturing existing relationships, and building new ones every day.
I believe in working hard and playing even harder. Every day is a joy because I get to work with and indulge in jewelry, a true privilege that makes me one lucky lady.

Hello, I’ve been in the jewelry industry for 13 years. I’m so happy that I made this choice so many years ago. Learing how to grade diamonds and just learing that every diamond has it own birthmark is so interesting. I’ve known for a long time that I enjoyed being around people and listening to their stories. I hear about how they met each other or what anniversary they are celebrating. There is no better feeling than when someone lets you be apart of there special moments in life. There are only so many suprises someone can receive and I’m glad I get to be apart of those memories.
A little about me- I live my life by God, my wife and kids are my world; I have two sons and a daughter. Being a dad and watching them grow into strong independent kids is amazing. Can’t wait to get home and see them run to me saying “daddys home!” We love the Steelers, Ohio State, Penguins, Pirates, Reds, Cavaliers and others. Going on little adventures to COSI, sporting events and Destin, Fl. is how we spend our summers. There is never a dull moment in our house I can tell you that. LOL

After my ten years at our local Starbucks, I’ve made the transition to my true love: the World of Jewelry at Pugh’s Diamond Jewelers! My attention to detail and personable attitude make me a perfect fit here, as I love making my clients feel important and translate that into my work. Whether we are creating a one of a kind customized piece, or picking out the perfect stunning item here at our store, I make the experience tailored just for you!
There’s nothing I love more than a pop of color, adding bright and beautiful gemstones has a special place in my heart. I enjoy the more unique and rare gemstones, and researching what I can about them. I find it so much fun to show my clients something new, including finding just the right gemstone for the most perfect occasion- for their special someone, or for themselves!
In my spare time, I spend most of it at home with my family, or going on adventures! While at home, my husband, daughter and I love playing video games and just enjoying each other’s company. If we’re not at home, you can catch us hiking at Hocking Hills- or discovering a new coffee spot/restaurant. We also love cooking in my household, so I’ve always got a new recipe I’m thinking of throwing together. Food is my love language for sure! Between my husband and I, we share four rotten kitties and one ornery dog. We love our fur-babies, they keep us occupied and make us laugh every day!

About Me: Mother, History Buff, Archaeology Student, Mudlarker, and Chronic Doodler
Although the World of Jewelry is fairly new to me, I feel that my passion for history and art have helped me excel. My family and I enjoy mudlarking and metal detecting in our spare time and during these “Indiana Jones” type adventures, as we like to think of them, we often find gems and jewelry, along with other antiquities/artifacts. This sparked a love for antique and estate jewelry, which is the case you will find me at the most while in Pugh’s. Another aspect about the jewelry business that brings me joy is the opportunity to put my creative skills to work, while helping clients bring their dream pieces to life. I love collaborating with client’s and drawing inspirations from their stories, aesthetic, and lifestyles to make a truly one of a kind piece of their own.

Being the oldest of the team, I didn’t grow up with computers or video games. I played outside from sunup to sundown. If I had to play inside, my favorite game to play was Monopoly. Not to win the game, just so I could be the banker and count all the money and organize all the properties. That was just my thing.
I guess I was destined to work in accounting. God had my path planned from a very early age. After college I worked for a local manufacturing and a local pottery company before working for over 30 years for a global pharmaceutical corporation. It was during all those years I was able to learn and grow in the world of finance. I loved creating spreadsheets for everything! Hence the nickname “Spreadsheet Queen.” After my department was relocated overseas, I found myself on a new adventure. A new path that led me to Pugh’s Jewelers Inc. and a great team. I am still learning and growing, and still doing my thing. And yes, still creating spreadsheets.
When I’m not having fun with numbers, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Golfing with my family, gardening, and taking trips to the beach. The beach is My Happy Place. I am definitely a future snow bird. Tweet. Tweet….
